Background: I am currently a researcher in the DSP group. My research interests fall mainly in the broader field of spoken language processing. For my Master’s degree I worked on acoustic modelling techniques for speech recognition of the accent of South African English. Recently I have been working on systems for the South African broadcast news domain.
